The Nugget Restaurant in Weaverville

Like the rest of Weaverville, this place has gone downhill. Too bad Weaverville's a nice town. The Nugget is the kind of place seniors go to because they can't afford anything else. Did get out of there for 12 bucks so that's a plus.

Very nice place. Have enjoyed eating her everytime we are in Westerville. Service is very fast. Our needs are always taken care of while we are there.

Exactly what you expect from the moment you see it! Cute, Cozy small town dive with basic dive/diner food. Fast, friendly and convenient off the road for through traffic(I'm not a local) looking for a bite to eat n stretch there legs from the long road up or down the mtn. Food was delicious and very flavorful. Had the lemon herb chicken w rice n soup of the day-Turkey noodle

A great place to have lunch or any meal in Weaverville, California. The food is good and tasty. It is your typical dinner menu, with burgers, eggs, salads, sandwiches, etc. The best part of the Nugget Restaurant is the service. Everyone working there is super nice and attentive. Easy parking in the street, and the food is not expensive.

There's not much in Weaverville and this place is lucky that is the case. The 4 star rating is has earned in maps is relative, I guess. I mean clean your ceilings, what does the kitchen look like? The server forgot to put our order in so we waited an hour for an over cooked, previously frozen, cheese burger & a dry French dip. She asked if I wanted ketchup, I did. So she brought it to the table next to us. (Who arrived 30 min after us but who's food arrived only 2 minutes after ours) AND THEN NEVER CHECKED IN AGAIN. I had to get my own ketchup from the waitress stand across the restaurant because she was a complete disaster. Go anywhere else.

Breakfast was good and fast. They let our "service dog" sit outside with us on the patio... I'll be back I'm sure

The wait for our food was very long and my chicken fried steak was over cooked. But my boyfriend's salmon steak was a large portion and he said it was great. He also liked the rice pilaf. The corn bread was very tasty also.

After camping on Trinity Lake for 4 days, my family and I stopped here for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious!!! The staff was very friendly. The people who complain about how the place looks need to get over their pampered selves.

Great pie. Food was amazing. I had peach pie ala mode. Had a big burger and onion rings. Large portions. One of the other guest I went with had a chili burger and fries. Looked good. I recommend going if you are ever in weaverville. Near some good places to visit.

This spot simply knows how to treat their clients. Constantly with a very friendly demeanor. The food is fairly priced, regularly flavorful and clean.

A cute little restaurant. When we got there nobody was there but a few more groups came in shortly. The waitress was very friendly. I ordered a patty melt and it was amazing! I normally remember to ask for no onions but I'm glad I forgot, it was amazing just as it comes!!!! I would have given five stars but the fries were less than spectacular.

Dog friendly, which is a big plus. Wait staff was super nice and pretty attentive, even though we were outside. Food came out pretty quickly. The lack of star is because all of the food we had was very bland. Normally, I tend not to add any salt or extra to prepared meals (since they typically have enough seasoning for me). We had two chicken fried steak breakfast meals and a basic breakfast eggs, toast, and sausage meal. Steak was chewy and had a texture that made me double take what I was eating. Overall, for the price of the quality of the meals we had, we wouldn't revisit, however, because the staff was so awesome, perhaps it was just the meals we selected and would like to try again.

This is a typical, old school diner with wholesome, nothing fancy, American-style food. The service is excellent with friendly and efficient waitstaff. However, I found the food to be a little too typical. Everything that I ordered seemed to be cooked on a flattop, even things that aren't supposed to be. I ordered a chicken-fried steak but instead of a thinly pounded steak coated in batter and then deep fried I received something like a thin burger that was dredged in flour and then cooked on the flattop (at least that is how it seemed to me). Nothing else seemed to be above average, if that. Still, it is comfort food and I will probably go back, eventually.

We ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and 2 cups of vegetable beef soup. We split the sandwich. It was perfect for just the two of us. Service was fast and the ladies had smiles on their faces. A very pleasant lunch. Other than the kids screaching. But that's my hang up.

This is the first time I have ever posted a negative review but it was the Most disgusting meal I have had in years. The chicken fried steak was rubbery dry and no taste the country gravey was cold , watery and tasted like flour the egg was cold the biscuit was cold and had no taste almost like the were frozen and half thawed. The hash browns were ok. Very disappointed in the service. The waitress was by herself and was running around trying to take care of things without much success. Hope they can get it together because I hate seeing small businesses go down.

In weaverville, CA. There is this awesome little diner that has great food and good drinks! Havent been there in a few years but I will never forget the one time I went there. My friend and I met up in weaverville one day to spend the day together, and when we got hungry we decided to try this little diner called the Nugget. There was this young girl as our hostess, Tasha weaver. And she wasnt sure how to take us at first, but she started to feel comfortable with us quickly, and got our humor. The food was great! The drinks were great! The service was amazing! The diner was cozy and clean! The whole experience was unforgetable!

Great service! Love bacon gravy! Ground beef patty for breakfast is good. Scrambled eggs not cooked to death. Rather have home cooked food way more than Mickey D's. Will stop again.

We were on our way back to Redding after the visiting the Whiskeytown Lake and Trinity Lake. The staff was very kind and generous. We ordered chicken nuggets and a veggie burger and everything they made was so fresh and tasty. I would love to visit this place again. You must try their chicken basket! It was amazing! The ambience is quiet and relaxed they also have an outdoor seating of two tables, thought it was sunny outside we wanted to sit out and enjoy our meal, and it turned out to be cool and shady near the tables where we sat. The lady who served us was very sweet, she was managing the bills and food as well. You guys are doing a great job. Keep going :))

This place is good if you are passing through and want a diner meal and a decent length break. If you are there on a Friday try the fish and chips special. It was great. I give it a lower rating for general cleanliness and length of wait for food. The service team were nice and handled it all well, just a long wait in the kitchen.

Nice cozy little seat yourself place, everyone was super friendly. Quick service. Food was awesome. Home made feeling. Got the special, spaghetti and garlic bread with a side of soup. Prices are fair for the quality of the food. Would definitely recommend this place.
